Synopsis

A hilarious intergalatic adventure from award-winning comic genius, Elys Dolan Not so long ago, in a galaxy fairly far away, an elite crew of furry animals are celebrating. They have found the Lost Nuts of Legend hooray! and now all they have to do is go home. But if only it were that simple! Everyone is starving, the Star Nav is broken and it was a really, REALLY bad idea to stop at the Death Banana and ask for directions. Will they EVER find their way home? And, most importantly will they get home before something happens to the Nuts? Packed full of humour and jokes, there are endless hilarious details to pore over again and again just make sure you don't nibble on the nuts! Star Wars takes on a whole new dimension in this funny, fun-for-all-the-family picture book, perfect for little kids and big kids too. From the winner of the 2018 Laugh Out Loud Book Awards. Elys has also been shortlisted for The Roald Dahl Funny Prize, The Waterstones Children's Book Prize and nominated for the Kate Greenaway Medal Can't get enough? There are plenty more titles that will have you howling with laughter! Try Weasels, The Mystery of the Haunted Farm and The Doughnut Of Doom. A propos du livre

À propos de l'auteur

Elys grew up in a part of Sussex that consists almost entirely of trees and cows and she was named after a department store in Wimbledon. She's never let either of these things hold her back and Elys recently graduated with distinction from the MA in Children's Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art. Elys has been awarded second place in the Macmillan Prize and was also shortlisted for the Waterstone's 'Picture This' prize. Elys works predominately with ink, newfangled digital witchcraft and coloured pencils of which she is the proud owner of 178 but can never seem to find a sharpener. Based in Cambridge, when Elys is not drawing she grows cacti, collects pocket watches and spends altogether too much time in the company of other illustrators.
