This title is not available from them at present. Facsimile edition of the 1599 original with much additional material viz introductory notes, commentary, glossary, index to Commentary, etc. Smart, clean, tight and sound copy, no inscriptions. Publisher's cloth binding. xxvii + 81 pages of the facsimile + 28 pages notes at rear. Approx. size 9" by 6". From the private collection of John Manning. There are no markings to prove his ownership. Dr Manning was a Professor of English at the University of Wales, Lampeter, and the author of The Emblem ( Reaktion Books ).
