His books include: Masterful Marks: Cartoonists Who Changed the World(2013), Krampus: The Devil of Christmas (2010), and The Life & Times of R. Crumb (2008). He has received numerous awards and honors, including the Society of Illustrator's prestigious Richard Gangel Art Director Award for 2012.
