Emily Sohmer Tai received her PhD from Harvard University in 1996, and is associate professor of history at Queensborough Community College, City University of New York. From 2004-06, she was a member of the American Historical Association's Teaching Division.
James Roth, who received his PhD from the University of California at Berkeley, has taught history at Alverno College since 1976.
