Présentation de l'éditeur

Change and Continuity in the 2004 and 2006 Elections analyses the results of the 2006 U.S. midterm elections and evaluates strategies that may dominate the presidential nomination contests for Democratic and Republican candidates in 2008. The authors also evaluate changes in the presidential nomination contest that may reduce the importance of Iowa and New Hampshire by allowing additional early Democratic caucuses. They discuss Hillary Clinton s prospects both as a candidate for the Democratic nomination and for the general election. And they assess the strengths and weaknesses of the relatively larger number of potential Republican candidates.
