Synopsis

Quilting using an embroider machine is a great way to finish quilts. The automated stitches of an embroidery machine and its ability to hold layers together make it perfect for quilting. Jeanine Twigg, author of Embroidery Machine Essentials series, invites industry expert Linda Turner Griepentrog to share her quick-to-stitch quilting techniques. Linda shows you how to achieve success with the time-saving use of your embroidery machine. The 20 exclusive designs on the included CD-ROM were created by Linda to help develop your embroidery machine quilting. As an added bonus each design is available in several seizes and multiple stitch variations for your quilting convenience! The designs can be used for quilting (joining the face fabric, batting, and backing layers), embellishing blocks, or for non-quilting techniques, including embroidery on garments, paper, and even metal! And, Linda gives step-by-step instructions for 12 projects, including a handbag, baby quilt, and wallhanging, that incorporate machine embroidery quilting techniques. Enjoy!
