Hugh Lynn Cayce (1907-1982) was the eldest son of Edgar Cayce. He turned the nonprofit founded by Edgar Cayce in 1931 (the Association for Research and Enlightenment, or Edgar Cayce s A.R.E.) into an organization of international renown and developed widespread recognition and acceptance of sub-jects such as psychical research, dream analysis, meditation, and spiritual development. He received critical praise for his book, Venture Inward, for which A.R.E.'s magazine is named. Venturing Inward is the 50th anniversary edition of this classic book with a new introduction by A.R.E. executive director and CEO Kevin J. Todeschi.
