The first edition of these Narratives was printed in Pittsburgh, in 1782, in pamphlet form :a copy can hardly be procured now at any price. A nother small edition was printed in Nashville in 1843, which has become exceedingly scarce. It is hoped this reprint may prove acceptable to all interested in tho early history of our country, and struggles of the Pioneers with the I ndians.
