The boards of this 10 1/4 by 11 inch hard cover have black cloth covers, gilt lettering on the the spine and a circular patent impression on the front board which reads "Patent Talbotype or Sun Pictures." There are 216 pages of text and black and white images throughout the volume. Internally and externally the book is clean and bright, There are no stray marks, highlighted or underlined passages. The dust jacket is not price clipped and a sale price sticker has been affixed to the front flap. This sale also includes two articles both Fox Talbot laid in both written by Eugene Ostroff. One was published in "Photographic Science and Engineering," Volume 10 Number 6, November-December 1966. The other was in "The Journal of Photographic Science", Vol. 13, 1965. There are some bends to the upper right corner of this publication. A third item is also laid in, what appears to be a reproduction of the image on page 169, "Leafless Oak Tree." The image is on paper that measures approximately 6 1/2 by 8 1/2 inches. The image is approximately 6 by 7 inches. The dust jacket is now protected by a clear removable cover.
