Jerald A. Jacobs is an attorney in Washington, D.C., who focuses on counselling and advocacy for business, professional, social welfare, philanthropic, and other nonprofit organisations. He serves as General Counsel to ASAE, the major national association of nonprofit organisation executive leadership. He has taught nonprofit organisation law at graduate law and business schools, he has been recognised by the American Bar Association for his work in the nonprofit organisation field, and he has advised the governments of the European Union and the People’s Republic of China on their laws for nongovernmental organisations.
