This bibliography is designed for researchers, information systems specialists, librarians and others interested in the recent developments in information storage and retrieval. It is a compilation of over 1900 citations of published works on optical storage technology (books, technical reports, articles etc). All aspects of this subject are covered, including optical tapes and cards, although the main emphasis is on optical disks. The books is set out according to media type (ie video-discs, CD-ROM, CD-I, write-once optical disks etc) and within each section is subdivided by type of publication and method of treatment.
