Biographie de l'auteur

Regolo Ricci is a fine artist who has illustrated many books. Born in Italy, but raised in Canada, he is largely self taught and has an avid interest in the classics and art history. In The Lord is My Shepherd, Regolo combines his love of illuminated manuscripts and the flora and fauna of rural Ontario to create a panorama that truly does justice to the text. His attention to detail and his meticulous draftsmanship make this a memorable example of illustration at its finest. Also illustrated by Regolo Ricci and available from Tundra Books is The Market Wedding, by Cary Fagan, which was nominated for the prestigious Governor General’s Literary Award for Children’s Book Illustration.
