Dr. Gerald Ramsey, a clinical psychologist, received his doctorate from Virginie Commonwealth University in Richmond, where he also taught. He is an expert in the fields of sexual, addictive, and eating disorders. He has worked with hundreds of transsexuals and other gender dysphoric individuels over the prit two decades. Dr. Ramsey has spoken on these and other issues at dozens of professional conferences for the American Psychological Association. He has also acted as a consultant in healthcare and medical economics, with a client list that includes major health insurers, health-tare systems, and professional groups. Dr. Ramsey has been married for twenty-five years and has four children.
