Square quarto. 9.25 x 9.25 in. 223 pp. Profusely illustrated with black & white and color reproductions of photographs, art, etc. Very good in original pictorial paper-covered boards with some bowing to the board edges, mild edgewear to corners, and sunning to the spine. Signed by Tom Patterson, author of essay "Southern Gothic Writing and Southern Outsider Art," and who often wrote about outsider art in the South for Raw Magazine. This edition is also inscribed by Patterson to Connie and George Bostic, artists from western North Carolina with deep roots in the local art scene including with Black Mountain College Museum.
