Biographie de l'auteur

Richard Pilbrow Well known throughout the UK, America, Europe and even in the Far East, Pilbrow first made his mark at Olivier s National Theatre lighting shows such as the first Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. He revolutionised stage lighting in Britain, designing the new system for the new National and setting up Theatre Projects, the first independent lighting design company in the UK. He has been consultant for theatres and concert halls in over 25 countries. He is still a practising designer and has two shows on Broadway as this goes to press. His first book Stage Lighting, has been in print for over twenty years with cumulative sales of tens of thousands. Despite frequent revisions, it was unable to keep pace with the incredible transformation of lighting design into the electronic, computerised box of tricks it is today. Hence the new book...
