This title features 14 quilt designs, each with variations, plus a quilted purse design, which help quilters use their stash fabric collection while still encouraging them to purchase that special 'splash' fabric that completes the projects with pizzazz. All of the designs utilize timesaving techniques such as rotary cutting, assembly line piecing, and quick shape cutting with specialty rulers. And none of the quilts include cutting 1/8" measurements because the author shows you how to eliminate those for good! Old favourites, as well as new quilt designs, are presented to showcase a quilter's stash fabric. The borders, and occasionally the background fabrics, are the added splash to complement the quilt. The chapters in this book are organized in the ways that quilters organize their stash fabrics: in fat quarters, scraps, strips and leftover pieces.
