Synopsis

The latest edition of Kells's groundbreaking work on deriving the maximum benefit from the self-evaluation process has been extensively rewritten to place a strong emphasis on quality assurance and building a culture of self-regulation within the institution. The author discusses how to design an effective, efficient self-study program to fit each institution's situation as well as how to generate enthusiasm for the process and its potential to improve programs. The book ably demonstrates how the self-study process is applicable not only to the effective management of institutions, but also to satisfying the requirements of the accreditation process.
