A catalogue of the Arabic coins and inscriptions found during excavations at Siraf during the 1960s and 70s. Siraf lies on the Iranian coast of the Persian Gulf, and its heyday was the ninth and tenth centuries AD when its merchants were trading up and down the Gulf and the Read Sea and south to Zanzibar and across the Indian Ocean.
