Revue de presse

Five Stars. A brilliant book for talking to children about sensitive issues. --J Smith - March 2017

Join the campagn to get Mousie republished. Mousie has particular relevance for theraputic intervention as it uses a form of language that children can accept and explains the importance of being listened to. I promote it wherever I work - I show it to judges and psychologists. It helps social workers begin the process of taking to children about what has happened to them in a very gentle way and uses language that children are also able to understand and use. Mousie is very much in demand as a resource as there a very few books of such quality. --Rob Cullen - Trafford Assessment and Treatment Services

Brilliant.....from someone who knows. As a child victim of sexual abuse I was given this book in one of my numerous councelling sessions. I have since passed this book onto a family friend who believes someone she knows may be going through the same thing and I am hoping it helps them in the same way it helped me. --S Bradley - March 2009

Biographie de l'auteur

Khadj Rouf wrote Mousie and a number of other resources when she was a teenager. She wrote in order to reach others, after she had suffered years of abuse from her father. She was lucky enough to get her work published by the Children's Society, as part of 'Working with Sexually Abused Children: A Resource Pack for Professionals', written with ther friend and colleague, Anne Peake. This is a revised version of Mousie, but keeps the original introduction and acknowledgements, written when she was a twenty year old. Khadj is now a Clinical Psychologist, working for the National Health Service. She lives with her partner and two children.
