Mary and Clancey were models for the new collection by the Emanuel's. Mary Ann Mobley was crowned Miss America 1959, the first Mississippian to achieve this honor. She had a successful acting career in movies and television. She was married to actor Gary Collins. Both Book and Dust Jacket are in very good condition with very slight shelfwear. "Famous for their magical and timeless fashions, [the authors] have pioneered the new romantic look for women of all ages . The book is divided into four sections, each epitomising a season of the year - from the subtlety of the new-leaf green of spring, with tulle, lace and garlanded dresses, to the hollyberry red and white drama of the winter snow queen. To introduce each section David and Elizabeth have created original dresses worn for teh first time by personalities who for them personify each particular seasonal spirit" (jacket). Very good minus price-clipped, pictorial color dust jacket with edgewear, 1 closed tear to rear panel has been neatly repaired w/tape from the inside of the jacket, also a closed tear (1.0) along top of front fore edge.
