We purchased several items from his collection, so we believe the recipient of the author's inscription is Jim Davidson, who was the editor of Australian literary journal Meanjin [who published this volume] from 1974 to 1982. Illustrated with b&w line drawings by Douglas Annand. Includes laid-in publisher's PROSPECTUS (single folded sheet to form 4 pages, with order form on rear). Printed in Australia. Bound in original grey cloth (canvas) backed by red buckram spine with bright gilt lettering & design, top edge red, pictorial endpapers, maroon ribbon page marker, housed in publisher's black SLIPCASE. No dustjacket issued. A very nice clean tight solid hardcover copy.
