Special leather-bound edition limited to 275 copies; this copy no. 22. The book is set in 11 pt. Mallard and printed on Mead Black and White enamel dull by Best Printing Co., Austin, Texas. Bound by Custom Bookbinders, Austin, Texas. Signed twice by the artist, at the frontispiece and at the limitation. Frontispiece is an original etching, signed and numbered [22/275]. Bound in medium brown full leather hardboards, with gilt-stamped lettering to the spine. Unbumped spine head and tail, and sharp corners. Text block firmly bound in. With 244 numbered pages, including 99 photographs, etchings, paintings, and works in other media. Concludes with an essay on art and computers and his notes on printmaking technique. An immensely clean book. The book is either unread or very gently read. Still quite tight. No dust jacket, as issued. In a heavy-duty cloth slipcase of oatmeal linen-like fabric. Light staining to slipcase, hardly noticeable. A Fine volume in a Near Fine slipcase. 5 lbs. 4 oz. A retrospective compilation of Arth's imaginative work over the span of a decade.
