The show featured Juan Sanchez (b. 1954), an American artist who was born in Puerto Rico. Many of Sanchez's works are mixed-media and incorporate painting, photography, and clippings from different printed materials. Sanchez has often used his art to speak out against the United States' sociopolitical practices and polices applied toward Puerto Rico. The exhibition was curated by Jeanette Ingberman (Curator).
