Ron Fowler is a Gold Seal-certified flight instructor with nearly 30 years of experience, an aviation instructor at the university level, and a former wildlife survey pilot. He is also a contributing editor for "Plane & Pilot "magazine and the author of several books, including "Flying the Commercial Flight Test," "Making Perfect Takeoffs in Light Airplanes," and "Preflight Planning." He lives in Christmas, Florida.
