The definition of an autobiography is it is a history of a person’s life told by that person. I have always believed that autobiographies should be written by people who have made major contributions in medicine, history, music, politics, writing, theater, or industry. Anyone who profits from the experiences of others writers biographies, not autobiographies - and no one has benefited more from the people I met than I did, as you will see in this book. Perhaps then we can call this book an autobiographical tribute to the interesting people and events that shaped my life.
