The covers show moderate wear with fading and colour loss across the teal and green areas, fraying and creasing along the edges and especially at the corners, and the spine shows wear consistent with use. The title page carries a handwritten gift inscription reading "For Phyllis with love and all good wishes," and a former price is written in pencil in the upper right corner of the same page.
