Synopsis
The standard-setting guide for introducing soprano recorder in Orff Schulwerk classrooms, grades 3-6. Each unit provides warm-up and drill practice with new pitches. Next come each melodies, then more intricate melodies using the new pitches and using new with known pitches. New articulations are added to more pieces. Finally, supplemental arrangements, with Orff instrument accompaniments are provided to enrichment. Each lesson highlights new learning in visuals which may be copies onto larger formats by the teacher. Spiral binding facilitates teacher use. This revision edition of Recorder Routes is the culmination of many years of teaching and workshop presentation.
