Karal Ann Marling wrote the text for Double Trouble:ART/ALF and Ralph Rugoff did an interview with Tom Patchett, whose collection is celebrated in these two volumes which were published for "The Patchett Collection" exhibition. This exhibition started in San Diego on June 27, 1998 and ended in Sala Amós Salvador, Lograño, Spain in February, 2000. The text for these volumes is in Spanish and English. Volume 1, has 143 pages and Volume 2, has 283 pages. The covers for these volumes are in black-and-white, except for the background for the title, however, the flaps have colorful decorations. The interior pages of both volumes have both black-and-white and color illustrations. There are no marks, writing, or highlighting to the pages internally. The spines are not creased, but there is a slight mark to the front cover of the first volume, otherwise the covers are clean. The words Double Trouble are divided between the two spines and is only complete when the spines are placed side-by-side.
