Présentation de l'éditeur

Over the years Dr. Jim and Lynda McCall have seen or heard of just about any kind of problem behaviour a horse can come up with. This marvellous book grew out of the answers they've provided frustrated horse folk in their columns and articles appearing in leading publications such as The Quarter Horse Journal, Western Horseman, Horse & Rider, The Paint Horse Journal and The Thoroughbred Times, among others. Few things in this world are more frustrating to horse owners than a horse behavin' badly. It's hard sometimes not to take it personally when this creature we take care of, often love, and certainly pay the bills on, seemingly thinks up ways to frustrate them. Bad behaviours can range from those mildly irritating all the way to down-right dangerous. However, this book is here to help! Based on thorough understanding of horse behaviour and with deep love and respect for the horse, the McCalls offer more than one possible solution to some of the most common equine behaviour problems, such as: rearing, running away, spooking, the fall down, pre-heat syndrome and more. You'll learn how to interpret horse behaviour and to understand the why behind the problem, looking at it through the horse's point of view and using the methods the horse understands most in correcting problem behaviours.
