Her first book, award finalist ONE NIGHT IN A BAD INN, tells what she found out. FINDING THE BAD INN: DISCOVERING MY FAMILY'S HIDDEN PAST tells how she found out what happened, the story behind the story. Christy Leskovar was born in Butte, Montana, and raised in Kennewick, Washington. She graduated from Seattle University with degrees in mechanical engineering and French. After stints in Maryland, Kansas, Barcelona, San Francisco, and Las Vegas, she set off on an adventure to find what turned out to be an amazing and inspiring true story, enough to fill two books.
