Terri B. Ades, MS, APRN-BC, AOCN is Director of Cancer Information at the American Cancer Society. Wendy Mettger, M.A., principal and founding member of The Clear Language Group, is a leading expert in health literacy and plain language. She co-authored the well-known and respected guidebook, Clear and Simple: Developing Effective Print Materials for Low-Literate Readers. In 2003, she was awarded a National Institutes of Health Plain Language Award.
