With How to Do Your Own Divorce in California in 2015, Californians can obtain an uncontested divorce without hiring an attorney. Even for couples using an attorney, this book is an essential guide to making things go smoother and includes new and revised court forms for readers. The first part of the book explains in detail how to divide property and settle custody, visitation, and child support issues. The second part is a step-by-step guide through the court process, including how to complete important forms, when to file them, and how to get through a court appearance or even avoid it altogether. The included CDROM features demo versions of Nolo's CalSupport child and spousal support calculation software, Nolo's DealMaker Settlement Agreement software, and several other bonus items.
