Abdul Rahman Azzam has a long history of involvement in books for children and young adults. He was the founder of Hood Hood books, a children's publishing house deciated to books on the Islamic heritage, and is the author of several books, including The Travels of Ibn Battuta series and Cleopatra: Queen of Kings. He obtained his doctorate in Islamic History from Oxford University.
