Charles Blanning's powerful defence of coursing suggests that the case against it is usually based on wildly inaccurate ideas about the pursuit of the hare. Diana Durman- Walters discusses the important conservationist work done by falconers for many birds of prey species. While Arthur Cadman condemns 'marsh cowboys' he shows how wildfowlers have helped ensure that duck and geese populations have been maintained or increased.
