Leopold is delighted to publish this classic book as part of our extensive Classic Library collection. Martin, who shared a great-grandmother with the writer Maria Edgeworth, was in contrast an Irish Unionist and a suffragette (vice-president of the Munster Women's Franchise League). Their work captures the Irish vernacular and the social mores of the time. With illustrations by E. Å'. Somerville. Green cloth with red titles in a decorative script to the upper board accompanied by an illustration in black. Gilt titles to the spine. Very clean and neat. Good+, sound copy.
