Synopsis

Encased into the board at the rear of the book is a boardgame with an accompanying set of rules. This brings to life what has been described in the book, and is a useful teaching aid since it reinforces what has been learnt. At the end of the book is a time chart which shows the events in the rest of the world at the period under investigation.
