As if that wasn't enough for one man's career he helped with an air taxi business, ran a skid school and operated a hire-car fleet. The pages of this book reflect the trials and humour of life between the Wars when fast cars, Brooklands, and power boats on the Thames suddenly gave way to duty as a Special Constable and years as Transport Officer in the RAF.
