Divided into six parts: The Rhetorical Style, Techniques, National Style, Tuning and Pitch, The Bass Department, Equipment. The six parts are followed by a Glossary, Bibliography etc and a CD contents section (CD included). Full of b/w musical scores and occasional illustrations. It appears to have been owned by the violinist, John Stephens (see images of front cover and ffep - with address labels and signature (cover) in top right-hand corner). Condition: in a very sound state but note the following: general edge wear and occasional creasing (esp. back card cover in top left hand corner). The ffep has an errata sheet (as well as the John Stephen's label) - see image. pp. xii,296 + one page of text (CD Contents) opp. back cover/8vo (imperial octavo). More information/photos on request.
