This highly attractive colour booklet presents a summary diagram of the Celtic Year in the centre along with a poem with excellent tree photos for each month of the Celtic year (along with the five seasons). It has two pages of text explaining how the year's festivals were located too. It is an excellent summary of the Celtic Year with poems that describe how the ancients viewed each tree in essence.
Jackie has been fascinated with the Celtic mindset since her youth and wrote this booklet in response to an invitation to talk on the trees as part of the International Edinburgh Festival. She believes too much information spoils the reader- by offering poetic glimpses into the past more can be achieved often.
