Évaluation du vendeur 5 sur 5 étoiles
Hardcover. Etat : Fine. 1st Edition. 137 pages, hardcover in pictorial boards, 11" by 10". Bilingual introduction in English and Spanish. Staggering collection of images of Mexican accident sites by Mexican photographer Metinides - remarkable work that balances artful composition with an unflinching and direct eye, to create a kind of catalogue of human tragedy. The photos date from the 1960's through the 1990's, capturing numerous bus and car accidents, train derailments, high rise fires, suicides, occupational deaths, and more. A fascinating body of work that avoids the gratuitous - the images are unsettling but at the same time utterly arresting. The best book to date on Metinides. Out of print and rare. In excellent condition save for teeny bit of wear to tips and small black pen mark across the letter "I" on the cover. N° de réf. du vendeur ABE-1743656271279
