Synopsis
This is the fascinating life of celebrated actress and opera singer Ann Cargill, a tale that traverses over two centuries touching the lives of many along the way. From her turbulent youth, through her scandalous life, to her tragic death in a shipwreck among the Western Rocks of Scilly. One hundred years after her loss near Rosevear, the workmen, who constructed the Bishop Rock Lighthouse encountered many strange occurrences on that tiny island; thus fuelling their belief, and those of many others, that Ann’s lonely spirit still haunts that desolate, uninhabited shore. Today we hunt the seabed for her personal fortune in specie and jewels, that were also lost in the wreck of the Nancy packet.
