Jack Paterson has been a St. Mirren supporter since being lifted
over the turnstiles as a youngster by his father back in the 1960s. A
Paisley Buddie born and bred, he is co-owner of his own graphics and print
business and is editor and designer of both the `Black & White' magazine
and `The Saint' newspaper.

A Saints' shareholder, some years ago he redesigned the Club crest after
St. Mirren had received a request from the Lord Lyon's office to make
changes to the badge. Jack's re-design had only one aim - "to keep the logo
as close to the original as possible". He lives in Lochwinnoch with his
wife Elaine, daughter Kirsteen and son Ross, who like his father and
grandfather is a fervent supporter of the Club.

Bob McPherson, by contrast, is something of a mixture when it comes to the
great game. A keen Third Lanark supporter until the Hi-Hi's sad demise in
1967, he then followed Clyde home and away for the next nine years before
moving to Dundee in 1976. Since then, Dundee United have very much claimed
Bob's allegiance but he also has a decade-long admiration for Charlton
Athletic, a soft spot for Workington and a general interest in all levels
of football.

In short, the complete football fan, and one who enjoys contributing to a
variety of Scottish football club publications, not least of which are
`Black & White' and `The Saint'. Married to Ann, they have two daughters -
Claire and Laura - and the family home is in Broughty Ferry.

Brian Wright: Now retired from teaching, Brian Wright is most certainly
steeped in Saints' tradition, having supported St. Mirren, man and boy. He
feels that he was "fated" to be a Saints fan, and not only because his
father, Alex, managed the Club to the Division Two Championship in
1967-68.

Rather it's due to the fact that the first game he can ever remember being
taken along to was at St. Mirren Park , in the far off days of his
childhood back in 1962!

Brian contributes to the Club match programme and writes a regular column
in the `Black and White' magazine. An enthusiastic follower of football in
general, he is keen on all aspects of the game. First and foremost though
he is a `St. Mirren man'.

He lives in Johnstone with his wife, Cheryl and their two St.
Mirren-supporting sons, Calum and Andrew.
