Photographer, publisher, and most recently film director,
Rankin's iconic and intimate style, as well as his mischievous eye, have
gained him a reputation as one of the world's leading photographers. He has
photographed subjects from Kate Moss to the Queen from Tony Blair to Oasis.
Rankin will be publishing several books of personal work this year;
exhibitions of his photography are also currently on show in Amsterdam and
London. He lives in London and has a ten-year-old son, Lyle.

Tuulitastic sees Rankin taking a step back from his intensive schedule to reflect, and collect together his many different images of his favourite model, Tuuli. Featuring a combination of commissioned fashion, advertising and editorial, the book also includes intimate moments of the artist alone with his muse. Photographed over a three year period, Tuulitastic is an example of how one women's individuality can inspire and provoke where so many others have simply come and gone.
