Présentation de l'éditeur

Budget Airlines Football - by Stuart Fuller As more and more new airlines appear in the UK, and as the giants of Ryanair and Easyjet expand their route network, there has never been a better time to escape for a weekend away to watch some football. Whether it is a short overnighter to watch David Beckham play for Real Madrid, or a longer weekend break to catch two or three matches in Denmark, this book will help you plan that trip. The book will take you through a brief history of each club, an overview of the stadium, a guide on how to get to the stadium as well as information on the city in terms of where to stay and what else to see and do. Of course we will also give you some idea of which budget airline flies to the cities and how to use public transport to get to and from the airport. Many people pick up the Sunday papers, or turn over the TV channel to see football played abroad, and wonder what it is like to experience it first hand. This book will try and tell you how you can get those experiences, and for a lot less than you think. Many companies advertise European Football breaks, quoting prices up to £500 for a two night trip to see such games as the Milan derby. Through personal experience I will show you how you can do the trip for less than half of that. The first in a series of books on Football in Europe, The Budget Airlines Football Guide will cover over 100 venues over the next few years, starting with the 30 most popular including Amsterdam, Barcelona, Madrid and Milan.
