Gorman is a best-selling author and one the of UKs leading authorities on music and fashion. His books include The Look: Adventures in Rock & Pop Fashion (Adelita 2006), In Their Own Write: Adventures In the Music Press (Sanctuary 2001), Nine Lives with Goldie (Hodder & Stoughton 2002), Straight with Boy George (Century 2005), Blood & Fire with Robin & Ali Campbell (Century 2005). Gorman is also one of the authors for the Official Live 8 book. He has contributed to publications from GQ, Mojo and Heat to The Daily Telegraph and Radio Times
