Always Look After Number Two! Discover the Secrets of Colonic Irrigation, Perfect Bowel Movements and Digestive Health, is the second edition of this comprehensive guide to colon hydrotherapy and bowel management which was first published in 2006. Colon hydrotherapy, also known as colonic irrigation, has become even more popular in the last two years. The first edition of Galina Imrie's book has helped thousands of women and men to gain better understanding and control of their digestive system, and reduce or totally eliminate chronic digestive complaints digestive complaints including constipation, diarrhoea, IBS or bloating. This is a self-help book, which focuses on health, beauty and personal development by making sure that your body s elimination system is doing its job right. The book goes beyond colonic irrigation. It helps the reader to understand how the number twos are formed and what slight imperfections in your bowel movements might possibly mean. There is no other book describing poos to the general public, ND alerting the reader to the warning signs of bowel mismanagement that could be the first symptoms of dangerous conditions, including bowel cancer. Bowel cancer is the second biggest cancer killer in the Western world, and 'Number Two' should help more people take steps to it by re-connecting with their bodies and understanding the first signs of danger. 'Number Two' also focuses on the connection between the bowel and the brain. The bowel is now often described as the "second brain". It is only now coming to light that it is the bowel, rather than the brain, that is responsible for quite a few emotional decisions that we make on a daily basis. For example, the bowel manufactures 95% of serotonin, our mood regulator. This book also speaks of the interesting and intimate connection between the bowel and human emotions - a well known phenomenon in any science that works with people. Naturopathically, we have always tried to clear the emotions to free the bowel. Galina's approach of clearing the bowels to free the emotions shows her sensitive insight into what she refers to as 'the language of the bowel', says leading Australian naturopath Lara Coleman ND, BSc. Although it is a very serious subject, the book is written in a light-hearted way, with lots of cartoons, tables and charts to make sure it can reach the widest possible audience. The new edition of Always Look after Number Tow also contains a completely new chapter, The Boot Camp for Number Twos , where easy and achievable protocols are included for managing constipation, diarrhoea, gas, flatulence, belching, bloating, IBS, Candida and parasites.
After receiving her MA in Education in 1981 from Maurice Thorez University where she specialised in advanced learning technologies, Galina went on to become an educational reviewer, journalist, interpreter and teacher. She continued writing practical learning guides, as well as teaching CPD courses for teachers and lecturing. After moving to the UK in 1989, Galina worked for the BBC World Service and later spent some time in the City s legal and banking sector. In mid-90s Galina realised she wanted to go back to education. As health promotion has always been her great interest and passion, Galina took a sabbatical to do an intensive diploma course in Sports Therapy and Health and Fitness Studies, followed later by Nutrition, Iridology, Colon Hydrotherapy, Live blood Microscopy and Facial Diagnosis. Galina now divides her time between teaching colon hydrotherapy and other holistic modalities internationally and at her school, the Chi Centre in Maidenhead, Berkshire (www.colonicschool.net), supporting her current and former students, writing a new book and treating and mentoring clients in Wellbeing Now.

paperback. Etat : Very Good. Roy Nixon; Maurice Imrie; Frezia Zarrat (illustrateur). Most of our very good books have only minor imperfections such as shelf wear consistent with a new book that's sat on a bookshop shelf for a year or two. Occasionally we may miss other minor imperfections as we have to grade books at speed. Our books are dispatched from a Yorkshire former cotton mill. We list via barcode/ISBN so please note that the images are stock images and may not be the exact copy you receive, furthermore the details about edition and year might not be accurate as many publishers reuse the same ISBN for multiple editions and as we simply scan a barcode or enter an ISBN we do not check the validity of the edition data when listing. If you're looking for an exact edition please don't order (at least not without checking with us first, although we don't always have time to check). We aim to dispatch prompty, the service used will depend on order value and book size. We can ship to most countries, see our shipping policies. Payment is via Abe only.
