This humorous, practical and deceptively simple guide to well-balanced and effective organisational change is aimed at all those who have battled vainly against the inflexibility of big organisations. They want to succeed and get ahead, but lack the time to wade through vast management tomes. So welcome to the world of SmartArse! It's where ambition, egotism and reality collide. Guffaw as big boss SmartArse incompetently surfs every fad. But will his bright staff always save him from drowning? They will certainly tell you where he goes wrong and what to do instead. Laugh while you learn.

George Blair and Sandy Meadows began their working lives as management trainees with attitude, which was not always fully appreciated. After eventful careers running into many characters in this book, George and Sandy head up consultancies covering everything from organisational change to building organisational capability and board effectiveness. Janet Nun met quit a few SmartArses when working as an animator, layout artist and character designer for film and television. Her book 'Learn to Draw Animated Cartoons' was published by HarperCollins in 2001. Some years ago she escaped to the country where she is waiting for drawn animation to make a comeback and in the meantime has reverted to the wild.

paperback. Etat : Good. Our good condition books are generally good for reading but not for gifting or collecting. They could have imperfections such as creasing, fanning, inscriptions, margin notes, yellowing, staining on edge or cover or pages, bumps, scuffs, etc etc (sometimes multiple of these). It's a wide category that encompasses anything that isn't almost-new down to anything that is slightly better than poor. We would NOT recommend gifting Good books - these should be considered reading copies. Our books are dispatched from a Yorkshire former cotton mill. We list via barcode/ISBN so please note that the images are stock images and may not be the exact copy you receive, furthermore the details about edition and year might not be accurate as many publishers reuse the same ISBN for multiple editions and as we simply scan a barcode or enter an ISBN we do not check the validity of the edition data when listing. If you're looking for an exact edition please don't order (at least not without checking with us first, although we don't always have time to check). We aim to dispatch prompty, the service used will depend on order value and book size. We can ship to most countries, see our shipping policies. Payment is via Abe only.
