A very funny, very touching book. Touching, perhaps, because it's about lives that are only too recognisable. We may not all be divorced but we have all played some of these scenes. Biographie de l'auteur

Almost immediately following his divorce, Robin snapped his Achilles, nearly died from a resulting blood clot and couldn't walk for six months. So he sat in his garden and wrote this novel. The idea for it might have been inspired by real events but the plot is entirely fictional. As an actor Robin is probably best known for television comedy with series of Never The Twain, Ffizz, French Fields and Men Behaving Badly. London stage work ranges from Leontes in The Winter s Tale (Time Out Critics Choice Award) to The King and I at the Palladium. He is a well-known voice on TV commercials and documentaries. Robin was born in Lancashire, brought up in Oxfordshire and now lives in West London. The Flowerpot Man is his first novel.
