John was born in London in 1952. He studied at Harrow School and Central School of Art from 1970 until 1974. During the seventies he worked with a number of artists including Peter Blake, Jim Dine, Barry Flanagan, Allen Jones and Ben Nicholson in London, Europe and United States. Since 1980 John has shown consistently all over the world; in London in places such as Odette Gilbert, Mayor and Lefevre Galleries in San Francisco at the Charles Campbell Gallery, in Houston at Somoza Simms Gallery and Spark Inc Tokyo. His paintings and sculpture are in many private and public collections. John now lives and works in an old dog biscuit factory in the East End of London.
This is a gentle story of survival and hope for those touched by cancer, which one way or another is most of us. It is a story of how cancer can threaten the body but doesn't have to threaten the spirit.
