The book consists of floor plans of contemporary homes, two bedrooms to seven bedrooms plus an apartment block, designed by the architect Ville-B. It is made up of 3D colour illustrations and black and white floor plans showing the lay out of each home, with a brief description that guides the reader through the plans, using layman s language . The 3D illustrations show exterior views of the homes as well as interior views with furniture placed so that the reader can have a good visual image of what the home looks like. As well as being visually pleasing the book has practical implications. Many people wanting to build their own home have only a vague idea of what they would really like; the plans in this book can be turned into working drawings easily, or can be used as a starting point to create something really individual. The book is also useful as a text book for student architects as it provides a good reference point for floor plan layouts and designs.

Ville-B (Villee-bee) has been a licensed professional architect for over 18 years and has a great deal of experience in luxury high rise construction, hotels, office buildings, hospitals and luxury residential properties including mixed use and retail complexes. He has worked in many parts of the world including the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Mainland Europe and the Caribbean. As well as being an architect, Ville-B has an engineering background with a Bachelors of Science degree in mechanical engineering and a doctorate in civil engineering.
